Feb. 9. the school closed yestoday it has kept 13 weeks and 2 days we have not been to meeting today nor Father will not let George and I go tonight overon the turnpike he says that he wants us to stay at home and read the bible I think he has some strange doctrin he does all he can to torment mother he a fussing about some thing all of the time when he is not so cross that he cant the snow lies in piles here now it is about 4 feet here
