Thomas Clark & Mr. Gibson seem to be closely connected in trading cattle sheep & Lizzie Flanders has come back to Mr. Gordons Mrs. Gordon is not able to work-- Richard & Lizzie ride out occasionally the same at they used to. Bert has come home to spend New Years-- Your father is drawing up wood I was in hopes he would have some one to help him chop but he has not hired a day yet. Myron helped him last Saturday Geo. had a sore throat & did not work much. Our teacher talks of having a vacation of one week-- The rest are all a bed & I will cloce yours &c Laura H. Clark
