Dec 24th. weather moderating and clear. Nothing new in camp. Dec 25. This is christmas and we have no drill. The Officers are generally on a bender all but me and I am taking it all by myself. Had an Osyter dinner. Got a letter from Sally and Orrilla today which was quite a christmas treat. News that
