Supplement Dec 21" / 63 Poor little Ben, He was a noble soldier. At the battle of Chickamauga he bore a charmed life and gained a grand reputation for gallantry, At Mission Ridge as I came down the ridge with my poor wounded leg I found Ben shot through the ankle.
