17 This year, 1939, the Federation are buying new curtains for the club room and the Cary Club voted to pay for curtains for one of the fourteen windows. Recently the Carys with two other clubs sponsored a benefit concert for the Federation. The concert, held in the Methodist church, was given by Mrs Adams of Central City a talented vocalist. She was accompanied on the pipe organ and piano by Mrs Murdich and Miss Ruth Engstrom and Mrs Cory violinist. Twenty dollars ($20.00) was cleared at this concert.
