c/o Park view Woodville Wisc. Nov 8th 1962 Dear Mrs Blakly: Secy. I received your letter of Nov 5th to-day- Thank you- I hope I can correct This "confusion". I am not, nor ever have been a member of the Cary Club. My parents Rev. & Mrs. J.N. Platt lived in Marion years ago. and my mother was a member of Club. They asked to name the expected baby so I was named Cary Marion Platt. As pastor of Methodist Church my father was appointed to serve the church at Manchester, Iowa. I was born there, and have rather proudly - carried my name for 83 years = adding Cook to it.
