27 German history "Frederick the Great." was given by Mrs Griffiths, paper Maria Theresa, by Mrs Humphrey. Spelling Fest Mrs Cook. Five minutes intermission. Business, Secretary read letter of Thanks to club for Mrs Hindmans funeral. Report from Chairman of Entertainment committee, resulted in bills for same being settled. Letter from State Federation of Clubs in regard to dues. was tabled for two weeks. Resolutions sent us from the City Federation of Clubs in regard to opening a reading room was noted on in the negative. Adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Cook. Mrs Voris Pres Mrs Humphrey Sec'y. March 25 1901. The Ladies of the Cary Club met with Mrs Cook. Club was called to order by the president. Ten ladies responded to roll call. After which Mrs Voris and Mrs Gibson gave short sketches on the life of Richter. Lesson on German History was conducted by Mrs Taylor and Mrs Hutchinson Paper on Household economics was read by Mrs Cook which was fine. Music by Mrs Wheeler and Webb. Intermission. Business, after some discussion. Motion made and carried that Cary Club withdraw from State Federation. A motion was also made that each member of the club be assessed 25 cts more
