37 Art. followed by current events, Inter- mission during which our hostess served a dainty treat. Called to order and a letter read from Vinton inviting two delegates to a convention held in that place the following week, moved and carried that Mrs Voris and Mrs Alexander be requested to attend Moved and carried that we continue to have five minutes intermission at meetings. No report from Mrs. Rathbun in regard to entertainment. Critics report. Music by Miss Stookey. Adjourned to meet with Mrs. Mentzer Mrs. Knowlton Vice Pres. Mrs. Hutchinson Sec. Monday Oct 28th 1901 Cary Club met with Mrs E. Mentzer seventeen members present. Called to order by Pres. Roll call responded to by quotations from great men, minutes read and approved, Mrs Davis appointed critic. Mrs. Griffiths read a very interesting paper on the History and present government of Switzerland. We were then favored by some fine musical selections by Miss Floid followed by paper. A journey through Switzerland by Mrs Griffiths. Intermission, refreshments served & a social time. Called to order and current events given followed by short business session, moved and carried that we have our entertain ment the 8th of Nov. if possible and Mrs. Rathbun write to secure Mr. MacGrath for that date. Adjourned to meet with Mrs E. W. Griffiths Mrs Alexander Pres. Mrs Hutchinson Sec.
