51 Dec. 1, 1092 The Cary Club met with Mrs. H. S. Anderson. Twelve members answered to roll-call with quotations on Thanksgiving. The minutes of the last meeting were read and corrected. Mrs. Cook read an interesting paper after which an election to fill two vacancies in the club was held, resulting in the election of Mrs. Ed McKean and Mrs. Susie Brown. The question of extending the membership of the club was next discussed and a motion made and carried to leave the question for two weeks. Mrs. Ives then gave an enjoyable reading. Mrs. Hutchinson and Mrs. Mudge were appointed delegates to the Federation and Mrs. Gibson to act with Mrs. Davis as the flower committee. The club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs. Mudge. Mrs. Mentzer, Pres. Mrs. Anderson, Sec- Dec. 15, 1902. The Cary Club met at the home of Mrs. Mudge. The day being very stormy there were but eight members present, one of them being our new member Mrs. Brown. Meeting called to order by quotations from Whittier. Minutes of previous meeting read and accepted.
