Cary Club met January 8th 1906 with Mrs. Ives The president called the meeting to order. The secretary being absent the president appointed Mrs. Voris secretary pro term. It was a bleak winter day, cold and very icy, not withstanding the fact five members were present and responded to roll call with quotations. "Noman in Industrialism" was the subject of an excellent paper y Mrs. Alexander. This was followed by a discussion of current events. Club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs. Alexander. Mrs. Brown President Mrs. Voris sec. pro-term. Cary Club met Jan. 22 with Mrs. Alexander with seven members present the president presiding. Quotations were given in response to roll call. Minutes of meeting of Dec 11th were read and approved. Mrs. Ives then read an excellent paper on Russian cities, after which currant events were discussed until hour of closing. Club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs. E.N.McKean. The hostess invited the ladies to remain for a social hour during which time refreshments were served by her daughter, Miss Mabel Alexander. Mrs. Brown President Mrs. Gibson Secretary.
