Cary Club met February 5th Mrs E.W. McKean the president presiding. Twelve members and one visitor, (Mrs Clogston) were present. Roll call was responded to with quotations and minutes of last meeting read and approved. Domestic science was the subject of an excellent article by Mrs E.W. McKean. Mrs Evans gave a book review -- The Simple Life which was very interesting. Current events were given and club adjourned to meet February 19th with Mrs Voris. This being the club anniversary quotations were given from Alice and Phoebe Cary. Minutes of last meeting read &ap.. Mrs Rathbun gave an interesting account of the Early history of the club. She also read a number of the secretary's reports of the first number of meetings held, which were original, unique. and pretient, from the pen of the first secretary of the club, Mrs Anna Stone White. "The Value of the Club to its Members" was the subject of an excellent paper by Mrs Cook. Current events were given and club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs. Hadwin. Mrs Brown, Pres.
