The following program was then given, French Chateaux Mrs. Brown. French Cathedrals, Mrs. Gibson. South of France Mrs. McKean. Adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs. J.J. Ives Mrs Brown Pres. Pro.Tem. Mrs Hutchinson Sec. Marion Iowa Monday Dec 31st 1906 Cary Club met at the home of Mrs Ives the following sisters being present Voris Brow, Davis, Parmenter, Gibson, Sargent, Dobson, Troy, Ives and Hutchinson, in the absence of both Pres & Vice Mrs. Brown presided. Roll call responded to by current events, meeting minutes read & accepted. The resignation of Mrs. V. G. Schumack was reconsidered having been due to illness and she was reinstated and placed on the retired list untill a vacancy will allow her to achive [sic] membership. Committee for guest day report was given and accepted. Sisters Dobson and Voris was added to the committee and Sister Sargent excused from same. Mrs. Gibson read an artical [sic] on the Government of Switzerland & Mrs. Parmenter gave Outline history of same. Adjourned to meet with guests the home of Mrs. Alexander in two weeks.
