Marion Iowa June 1st 1908 The Cary Club met at the home of Mrs. Bailey with sixteen members and one guest (Mrs. Baileys mother Mrs. Foster) present. Meeting called to order by the President. Miscellaneous quotations were given in response to roll call. Minutes of previous meeting read and approved. Names were then balloted upon for the election of a new member resulting of the election of Mrs. C.E. Cross. It was moved and carried the Treasurer to be instructed to hand the Federation Treasurer $1.60 to bind magazine. This being the afternoon of the Club Tea a Kensington was enjoyed and elaborate refreshments were served. Club then adjourned to meet at the call of the President in the fall. Mrs. Alexander Pres. Mrs. Pyle Secy.
