Marion April 5 1909 The Cary Club met at the home of Mrs. Sargeant. Meeting was called to order by Vice Pres. Mrs. Sargeant. Quotations were given in ans to roll call from O W Hoines. Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. There were nine members present. Mrs. Hutchinson reported the committee had purchased a pain[?] of pillows and a set of brushes for Marion Old Ladies Home. The bill was $3.00 it was moved and sec'd the bill be allowed order drawn on Treasurer for [?] was carried. Each member was asked to call up a friend in country and solicite and Easter offering for the home. The following program was then given Mrs. Sargeant a Magazine Article "New Food for New Millious[?]}. Mrs. Brown an article on the "Cotton Industry no further business Club adjourned to meet with Mrs. Brown April 19 S Brown Sec'y
