Marion Iowa Oct 25-1910 Club met with Mrs E.J. Mentzer 12 members were present and responded with quotations from Iowa authors Minutes of last meeting read and approved Mrs Mentzer gave a very interesting talk of "Iowa Early Pioneers" Mrs Griffith, (in the absence of Mrs Hutchinson) gave a recitation - Mrs Ives gave an insight into the "Public [Distributions?] of Iowa" Current Events were given by several of the members At 4.30 adjourned to meet with Mrs Cook Nov 8th Mrs C E Cross Secretary Impromptu discussions about sending flowers to the sick and it was decided to send such remembrances to only the immediate families of the members of the Club Minutes Approved Mrs Cross Mrs Pyle President
