Feby 28th 1910 Cary Club met with Mrs C E Cross at 2 oclock PM. Mrs President Pyle called the ladies to order, and the roll was called each member responded to their names with a recitation or with a short funny story, all of which created much merriment Mrs Walter Winter gave a very interesting recitation, which was much appreciated. Mrs E J Mentzer led a discussion on "Domestic Science" which was participated in by nearly every member At 4.30 a delicious lunch was served, in buffet style this being the annual Guest day of the Club. There were present as invited guests thirty two of the leading ladies of the city, including Mrs Pearse [Gar?] of Grinnell, Mrs Max Voris of Cedar Rapids and Mrs R.[?letter]. Pollard of Miles City Mont At 6 o'clock the guests departed, expressing themselves as having spent a delightful afternoon and no doubt will refer this meeting with fond recollection.
