May 9th 1910 The Club met as per notice with Mrs Bailey with sixteen members present who answered roll clal Minutes of last meeting read and approved At the point the secretary read the Constitution and bylaws of the Club Mrs Sargent gave a recitation Mrs Davis followed in a discussion on "American Poets". James Whitcomb Riley being the favorite of the Club As this was the annual elections for officers for 1910 and 1911 the following members were elected as follows Mrs Winter President " Davis Vice President " Brown Secretary " Sargent Treasurer A programme committee was approved to formulate and have programme printed and distributed to each member of the Club Current events were discussed and Mrs Mentzer read and interesting letter from former member Mrs Parmenter Adjourned to meet May 23rd with Mrs Alderman Mrs C.E. Cross Secy Mrs Pyle President
