Marion Ia. Apr 3rd 1911. Cary Club met at the assembly room of Public Library. Meeting was called to order by Pres Mrs Winter. Quotations from Cary sisters were given in answer to roll call. Minutes of 20th were read and approved. Eleven members present. The first number on program "Queen Victoria" by Mrs Rathbun. Sec'y was instructed to bring ten Cook Books to the next meeting to be sold by the Club. Credits were then taken. Club adjourned to meet with Mrs Beatty Apr 17th Susie Brown Sec'y Marian.Ia.Apr17.1911 The Cary Club met at the home of Mrs Beatty. Pres Mrs Winter called Club to order. Quotations were given from "Gladstone" in answer to roll call. Minutes of Apr 3rd were read and approved. There were sixteen members and one visitor Mrs Van [Nuise?] present. Mrs Beatty read and interesting article on "Gladstone"/ Current were given . criticisms and credits taken The ten cook books to be sold by Club for benefit of Library were reported on hand by Sec. It was reported eight were sold. No further business. Club adj to meet May 1st with Mrs A E Blinks Susie Brown Sec'y
