Marion Iowa Sept 25" 1911. Cary club held its first meeting at the home of Mrs A.E. Blinks. Seventeen members being present. Meeting called to order by the Pres. Roll call was responded to by vacation echoes. The minutes of June 12" were read and approved. Mrs Winter the retiring Pres. & Mrs Mentzer the incoming Pres. each made a very pleasing and appropriate address. The Treas report was read and approved, showing a balance of $1.64. The History Lesson. Subject Ancient Egyptians was given by Mrs Alderman, after which many interesting current events were givent. Adjourn to meet in two weeks with Mrs J.J. Ives Before returning home the Hostess served very delicious refreshments. Mrs Mentzer Pres Mrs Alderman Sec'y
