Marion Ia. Oct 23rd 1911 The Cary Club met with Mrs. Rathbun. Sixteen members present. President presiding. Roll Call responded to by quotations from the Bible. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. the report of the Federation Com. was given by Mrs. Brown. Mrs. Bailey gave the History Lesson. Subject - The Phrenecianer[?] India and Persian Emperil. Mrs. Gibson read a very interesting paper on the Women of the Shetland Islands. Mrs. Winter read a letter from Mrs. Hutchinson which was enjoyed by all. Current Events were then given and the Club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs. Phelps. Mrs. Mentzer Pres. Mrs. Alderman. Sec.
