The annual meeting of the Cary Club was held at the Home of Mrs. Winter May 13 - 1912. The Pres. presiding. Fourteen members present. Quotations from Longfellow were given in response to roll call. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved. Following program was given. History Lesson - Roman Literature, Philosophy and Law Mrs. Phelps. Reading - Subject Making [?] while the sun shines Mrs. Blinks. Constitution & By Laws of the club were read by the Sec. Election of officers resulted as follows. Pres. - Mrs. Blinks Vice Pres. - Mrs. Brown Sec - Mrs. McKean Treas. - Mrs. Cross Mrs. Winter chairman of the program committee gave a brief outline of the work for the coming year. Com decided to have but one paper at each meeting and vie more time to current events. Club tea was then discussed. Mrs. Mentzer very kindly invited club to hold club tea at her home.
