Good Roads and a general description of the great dam at Keokuk, Iowa along with some fine pictures of same. After making arrangements for a noon lunch with Mrs. Blinks in two weeks, & be followed by our regular meeting, the Club adjourned. Cassie B. Waffle Sec. Mrs Ives Pres. Marion, Ia. ? 6-1913. Cary Club met at the pleasant country home of Mrs Blinks. Twelve members and six visitors, five of whom were gentlemen, partook of a bounteous luncheon at noon. A little later the Pres. called the Club in order. Roll call was responded in by quotations after which a current event was given by each one present. The minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. In the absence of Mrs Brown her work on the Early History of Alaska was given by Mrs Davis. This was followed by Mrs Blinks on the Customs of Alaska. Motion was made by Mrs Bishop that one half the expense of the carryall be taken from the treasury and those who road in carryall pay the remainder. Motion carried. After a report from Mrs Crozs of the prompt and efficient work of Com. at cemetery, the Club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Elsen. Mrs Loes. Pres. Mrs Waffle Sec
