241 June 1st 1914 Marion Iowa Cary Club met with Mrs Mentger. Fourteen members present & five visitors. Mrs Angle of Chicago. Mrs listenberger of Marion. Mrs [Lu?] Wilson & Mrs Baker. Marion. Mrs Jennie Wilson of C Rapids. Quotations were given in answer to roll call. Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. Club decided to have a picnic supper. and invite our husbands. or one guest. Pres appointed. Com' on refreshments. Mrs Pyle. Mrs Alexander. Mrs Shucmack Mrs Hutchinson For. "Club Tea. June 15th at Mrs Alexanders Greeting from Honorary Members". were read by Mrs Bailey & Mrs Alexander letters were rec'd from Mrs Phebe Carson. Bufort. Ia. Mrs J N Platt Clark. S Dakota Mrs T Evans Waerloo Ia. Mrs [F?] W Knowlton Ballard Wash Mrs Florence Sargeant. C Rapids. Miss Mary Durham. Washington. D.C. Mrs J H Reynolds Greenboro Ind Mrs Wm Parmenter. Pomona Cal. Mrs Kinger Kent. Wash. Mrs Mudge Lion City Ill. Mrs Dobson Chicagp Mrs Nannie Adams Santiago, Cal. Mrs & 3 Robinson Monticelo Ia Mis Gist Cedar Falls Three Honorary members. Mrs L Wilson. Mrs Hutchinson. & Mrs Jennie Wilson. [who?] is a charity member. also, were present. These greeting were enjoyed by the Club to hear from so many. who are living in five or six States, so many miles away. who were once active members. stirred many pleasant memories, & hope one may have the pleasure of such an inspiration again. We also. thot of those who live in our memory who have passed to the great beyond. They are gone, but not forgotten. Mrs Jennie Wilson, gave a poem. ovr
