246 Marion Iowa. Sept 21 " 1914. Cary Club met with Mrs. Cook. The fifteen members present responded to roll call with "Vacation experiences." Our retiring president Mrs. Ives, on account of illness was not able to be present. The greeting from our new president expressed the thot that she took up the work with fear and trembling. Every member has the utmost confidence in her ability. Minutes of June 1" read The correction "Mrs Shumacks name should appear on refreshment Com. adopted as corrected. A letter of greeting to club from Mrs. Regina B. Van Ness of Mason Cty was read by Mrs. Bailey. Mrs. David Treasurer reported at beginning of year. $24.60 paid out 21.31 Balance. 329 Mrs. Pyle paid to treasurer. .90 left from Club Tea The delegates to C.T. of W. C. reported the C.T. desire to add a Dept. to Federation wherein ladies who are not members of clubs may become members and help in work in which all are interested. Plans will be given to club in regard to entertaining The Sate Fed. of Womens Clubs of the Fifth district of Iowa next month. Mrs Bailey gave the Program number, "Historical Sketch of Iowa", Which was very interesting. "Iowa" was sung by
