259 McKean was elected to formulate resolutions for Mrs. Cook. The program was then taken up per Calander. Mrs. Brown read an interesting paper on picturesque places of Iowa. Mrs. Blinks gave an excellent talk on Prominent people of Iowa, and Mrs. Mentzer presented the subject, spirit Lake Massacre which was very interesting. Club adjourned to meet May 31" with Mrs. Mentzer. the Hostess served refreshments. Mrs. Shumack Pres. Mrs. Bishop Sec'y. Marion Iowa May 31". 1915. Cary club met with Mentzer. Eleven members responded to roll call with Famous Sayings. Minutes of last meeting were read and the resolutions formulated for Mrs. Cook. They were adopted. Mrs. McKean presented a bill of $4.80 for flowers sent to the sick during the year. Bill was allowed. A committee composed of Mrs. Cross Mrs. Winter and Mrs Shumack was appointed to plan for the club tea motion made by Mrs. Bailey and seconded by Mrs. Alexander "We waive the rules and proceed to ballot on names for membership, motion carried. Mrs. McKean and Mrs. Griffiths were appointed tellers.
