262 1915 Marion. Iowa. Nov 15 - Cary Club met with Mrs Davis at the home of Mrs Reichart. Thirteen members present. Conundrums were given for quotations, Mrs Blinks was well prepared on the topic "moving pictures" & the child - as was also Mrs McKean in Reading for Children, Mrs Mentzer gave a report of the City federation, & laid the matter of a sufferage organization before the club. Motion made we give our sanction fro the organization for a suffrage league. Current events closed the afternoons work - Mrs Alexander, Secy - Mrs Bailey, Pres 1915 Marion Iowa - Nov 29" - Cary club met with Mrs Waffle - The Pres - presiding sixteen members present. Thanksgiving quotations were given. Minutes of previous meeting read & approved. Report of unfinished business of the City Frd - given. The first topic for the afternoon, "Child Labor in the South", was given by Mrs Phelps. This was part of the Oct - program. Mrs Griffiths topic was "Child & the Church" by Mrs Griffiths. This was followed by discussion of same. A Thanksgiving story by Mrs Davis & read by Mrs Reichart was enjoyed by all - Current events postponed - club adj - to meet in two weeks with Mrs Pyle. Mrs Bailey Pres - Mrs Alexander - Secy. Marion Ia - Dec 13. Mrs Pyle was hostess for the Cary club - Fourteen members present. The Pres - presiding. Xmas quotations were given in answer to roll call. Minutes read & approved, Bible characters were given for the program. Moses - Mrs McKean, Debrorah & Zipperah - Mrs David, David - Mrs Phelps, Cyrus - Mrs Alexander, & Isiah - Mrs Elson. A missionary story was read by Mrs Pyle, followed by snapshots from the Philippines, by Mrs Blinks. Acy- to meet in two weeks with Mrs Reichart. Mrs Bailey - Pres, Mrs Alexander, Secy -
