270 Marion, Iowa. Sept 18." 1916. Cary Club held the first meeting of the year with the retiring President. Mrs Bailey. Twelve members responded to roll call with, "Events of the summer." The retiring Pres mad a short address telling how she had enjoyed the work etc. The incoming Pres. Mrs Mentzer responded in a few well chosen words Minutes of June 5" read and approved. Report of delegate to city Federation given. Mrs Bailey gave the history of South America in a very complete paper. Current events given and adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Alexander Mrs Mentzer Pres. Mrs Alexander Sec. Pro. tem.
