Marion, Iowa November 5, 1917. The Cary Club met with Mrs Griffiths at the usual hour, with 10 members present. The President Mrs Blinks called meeting to order. Roll call was responded to by Nature Quotations. Minutes of last meeting read and accepted. It was moved and carried that each member pay 10¢ a month for Red Cross work. The 7th & 8th chapters of the club story were read by Mrs Phelps. Mrs Brown then gave her work on Military Training Camps, which was very good. Mrs Griffiths showed some pictures of her Son's camp at San Antonio, Texas. Current events were given and club adjourned to meet in two weeks. Mrs Pyle, Sec. pro-tem. Mrs Blinks Pres. Marion Iowa November 19,1917. The Cary Club met with Mrs Phelps at the usual hour, with eleven members present. The President Mrs Blinks called meeting to order. Roll call was responded to by Thanksgiving Quotations. Minutes of last meeting read and accepted. The 9th & 10th chapters of the club story were read by Mrs Davis. Mrs McKean then gave her work, Experiences in the Grand Canyon, The Cliff Dwellers and The Petrified Forests, which was very interesting. Current events were given and club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Rathbun. Mrs Pyle, Sec. Protem. Mrs Blinks President.
