291 Marion, Iowa. February, 4, 1918. The Cary Club met with Mrs Brown at the usual hour with seven members present. The President Mrs Blinks called meeting to order. Roll call was responded to by, A, Friend. Minutes of last meeting were read and approved. Names were proposed for membership, to take Mrs Alderman's place, who has moved from the city. The 19" & 20" chapters of the club story were read. Mrs Blinks gave her work, Building a Motor Road Through the Everglades, which was very much enjoyed by all. Current events were given and club adjourned to meet in two weeks, for an all day meeting with Mrs Pyle, to sew for the Belgian children. Mrs Blinks Pres. Carrie Reichert Secy. The President Mrs Blinks called the meeting to order at usual hour with ten members present and one visitor Mrs Edgar Pyle. Roll call was responded to by Helpful Suggestions for House Work. Minutes of last meeting read and accepted. The ladies voted on the name of Mrs Hanscom and the ballot resulted in the unanimous election of Mrs Hanscom to membership in the club. Mrs Pyle gave a report of the Federation. The subject was discussed, of having a lady demonstrator come before the clubs of city, each club paying their share of $2.50. The subject was laid over until another meeting. The 21 & 22nd chapters of the club story were
