292 read. Mrs Mentzer gave her work "Our Island Possessions", which was very interesting. Current events were given and club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Mentzer, to sew for the Belgians. Mrs Blinks Pres. Carrie Reichert Sec'y. Marion, Iowa. March, 4, 1918. The Cary Club met with Mrs Mentzer for an all day meeting to sew for the Belgian children. The President Mrs Blinks called meeting to order at the usual hour, with ten members present. Roll call was responded to by Conundrums. Minutes of previous meeting were read and approved. Bill was allowed Mrs Winter for material for work on hand. The subject of having a lady demonstrator come before the clubs of the city, was laid over until another meeting. Mrs Hanscoms acceptance was presented to the club. The 23rd and 24th chapters of the club story were read by Mrs McKean. Mrs Phelps gave her work, "Warfare and Our Sand Dunes", Current events were given and club adjourned to meet in two weeks with Mrs Reichert. Mrs Blinks Pres. Mrs McKean Secy. Pro Tem. Marion, Iowa.
