Marion Iowa Dec 16- 1918 Cary Club met with Mrs Cross at normal hour. Vice Pres Mrs Pyle called Club to order. Thirteen members responded to Roll Call with "Christmas Thoughts." Minutes of last meeting accepted as read. Business in order. Mrs. Winter gave a very concise report of Federation Meeting, and spoke of the Rummage role now being held Sat of each week. Literary Program given per calendar. "Sals- industry" by Mrs. Bliuks. "A Test-of Intelligence" by Mrs. Shumack. 8 taking Mrs. Griffish work. Mrs G. being ill and not able to be present. Concert event were given and club adjourned to meet Jan 13th. 1919 with Mrs. Dans. Ladies hastedned to station to see a train of wounded soldiers returning from France.
