22 Marion Iowa Jan 13 - 1919 Cary Club met with Mrs Davis at the usual hour Vice Pres Mrs Pyle called club to order. Eleven members responded to Roll Call. Minutes of last meeting read and accepted Business in order Moved and carried an order be drawn on Treasury for one dollar [illegible] to be used as clubs share for gift given to Miss Pierce our beloved Librarian who has gone to Riverside Cal. as City Librarian. Program given per Calendar Mrs Mentzer subject - America Among the Nations" was deeply enjoyed and Mrs Reickert gave the beautiful story of "Deborah the Drastic". Club adjourned to meet in two weeks.
