23 Marion Iowa Jan 27 - 1919 Cary Club met with Mrs Winter at the usual hour. Ten members and one guest being present. In the absence of Pres. Mrs. Pyle Vice Pres. called Club to order. Roll call responded to by quotations from the Bible "Prophecies of Jerusalem" The subject of a French Orphan was discussed and was decided to decide at the next meeting if the Club adopt one for a year or not by a vote of ladies. Miss Spencer the Food Demonstrator is to meet with the Club in two weeks at the home of Mrs. Winter. Flower bill of $2.50 was allowed. Program. - "Jerusalem of Today" was the subject of Mrs Hanscom's work and Mrs. Winter gave Mrs. Cross' work Mrs. Cross being ill.
