Marion, Iowa. May, 23, 1921 The Cary Club met at the home of Mrs Addie Shumack at the usual hour. The President called meeting to order. Fourteen responded to roll call with quotations of Memorial Day. Minutes of last meeting approved and read. The Federation report was given by Mrs Pyle. It was voted to have the club tea Tuesday May, 31, 1921 at 3pm at the home of Mrs Blinks and to have a mother and daughter tea. Mrs Locke, Griffiths and McKean were appointed as the committee in charge. The following program was given:- The Irish in the Star 61, Ireland Republic or Dominion - Mrs Ives. Ireland of Visible & Invisible - Mrs Broun. Current events were given and club adjourned to meet in one week for club tea. Carrie Reichert Secy Newspaper cutting: Daughters are Guests The Cary club held its annual tea Tuesday afternoon at the home of Mrs A E Blinks, in East Eighth avenue. Each of the twenty members took as her guest her daughter. The afternoon was spent socially and a two course tea was served at 6.30pm.
