-1942- August 1942. W.C.T.U RE-ELECTED OFFICERS AT MEETING The August meeting of the Woman's Christian Temperance Union was held int he United Prsbyterian church. Mrs. George E. Mitchell presided and also presented the program, reading from Dr. Harding's Booklet, "God Bless America, When and Where and How." At an election of officers, the following were re-elected: President, Mrs. George E. Mitchell; vice-president, Nellie Lincoln; Secretary, Ada Park; and Treasurer, Mrs. Robert Lincoln. The August meeting was held Aug. 18 at the U.P. church. Singing of song Carry On and the White Ribbon Rally song. Devotionals - Nellie Lincoln. Report of nominating com. that all officeres hold over for another year. Motion made to accept report. Carried. Mrs. Mitchell read from the booklett, "God Bless America, When and Why and How" by Dr. Harding. Offering 46 cents. Secy Pro tem.
