Feb. 1943. 201 March 1943. W. C. T. U. MEETING The W. C. T. U. will meet at 2:30 Tuesday, Feb. 16, at the home of Mrs. W. J. Stewart, 1015 5th Ave. Members please bring dues. The W.C.T.U. met with Mrs. W. J. Stewart, Feb. 16th. Inspirational devotionals were conducted by Mrs. A. W. McBlain. Mrs. Mitchell sang "My Task." Discussion of temperance work, state and local, followed. A card of sympathy was sent to the [Parmenter?] family. Mrs. Stewart, Sec. Pro tem MARCH - 1943. March meeting was with Mrs. Germann and Mrs. Hess. The president reported the leaflets Milk vs. Beer had been secured, and most of them turned over to various milk men for distribution. The pres. read a letter from the State pres. relative to the voting on local option by members of the House. Several reported on letters written to state and national representatives and senators. A letter from Senator Vittetoe to Mrs. Mitchell was read. A letter from the State Treasurer to the Local Treasurer was read. Mrs. [Watland?] reported on a talk on S. Am. given at W.M.S., luncheon. Mrs. Germann reported on the World Day of Prayer. Two new members - Mrs. Alf. E. Dille and a former member, Mrs. Mary Swain. A visitor, Mrs. Sawyer, prayed. Miss Sherman read "John Barleycorn Speaks". All dues were paid by Mar. 1 - 1942. Nellie L. Sec. pro tem.
