250 December 1946. January 1947. The W.C.T.U. met December 1946 with Mrs. George Murray. The Scripture passage designated was Luke 2:1-20. The assigned topic was, Acceptance of the Christ Child - as it affects the individual, the home, the community. The study provided in the Program Guide suggested the topic, Liquorless Holidays, Versus Liquor Holidays. January 20, 1947. The topic assigned for the program for Jan. 1947 was Legislation in Our Community. Worship: Zeckariah 8:16, 17; Gal. 5:14. Suggested Discussion: Are We Ready for the Air Age? Legislation for Safety, on the highway, on the railway, in the air lanes, or the sea lanes, and in our community. W.C.T.U. WILL MEET WITH MRS. EVANS 1947. The W.C.T.U. will meet with Mrs. John Evans, 1119 Park street, on Tuesday afternoon, February 18, at 2:30 o'clock. The topic will be "Narcotics". All women are invited and all members are urged to attend W.C.T.U. TO MEET TUESDAY, DEC. 16 1948 The W.C.T.U. will meet at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 16, with Mrs. George C. Murray, 1019 Park street. W. C. T. U. WILL MEET WITH MRS. MURRAY 1947 The W.C.T.U. will meet Tuesday, January 21, with Mrs. George Murray at 1019 Park street. The program, "Legislation in our Community", will be conducted by Mrs. W. J. Stewart, and the devotions will be led by Mrs. A. B. Manson. Members are asked to please note the change in the meeting place. All ladies are invited to the meeting whether or not they are members of the organization. W. C. T. U. WILL MEET IN McBLAIN HOME The meeting of the W.C.T.U. has been changed from the George Renaud home to the A.W. McBlain home at 1008 West street, and will be held Tuesday afternoon, March 25, at 2:30 o'clock. 1947 MRS. RENAUD WILL BE HOSTESS TO W.C.T.U. The regular meeting of the W.C.T.U. will be held on Tuesday, March 18, at 2:30 o'clock in the home of Mrs. George Renaud at 931 Elm street. The topic "liquor sales as they affect our community" will be led by Mrs. A. W. McBlain and Devotions leader will be Miss Edna Sherman Members and friends of the organization are invited. 1947
