December 1948 - January 1949. Dec. 21st The WCTU met at the home of Mrs. Mary Swain. Devotions were by Mrs. Lela Adams. Mrs. Helen Wilson (M.A.A.D.) kindly presented the program, as the scheduled leader, Mrs. Mausen, was unable to be present. The subject was, "The Crusade Anniversary," and a Biographical sketch of Mrs. Eliza Thompson from the sketch book. Also a leaflet, Department of Non-Alcoholic Fruit Products. Mrs. Ed Wright, in costume, read story Adjourned - Mrs. G.D. Phillips Sec. Prot Jan. 17 - 1949 - Fifteen were present at the home of Mrs. Harlow Inman. Devotions were led by Mrs. Bartow, "God's Thou Shalt." Report was made that in December we heard about Mrs. Eliza Thompson, the first Crusader, the daughter of the governor of Ohio.
