Grinnell W.C.T.U. met in the Long Church on Nov 19 - 1918 with 10 members present. Meeting opened by signing "My Faith Looks up to Thee". Mrs. Lincoln read the 146 P. Mrs. Brande led in prays. Minutes of last meeting read and approved. Mrs. Kerney told of the interest and appreciation shown by the Teachers and Pupils of Davis school when the Union Presented Miss Willards picture to the school. Pres. read a letter from the State Pres. telling of the need of an organ at Fort Des Moines Hospital. Voted to continue having the Union Signal come to our members she will give the paper to the member who has the Program and after that it will be placed in the Library. Mrs. Eichhorn had the Programe Topic "Why we give Thanks" 5 States go dry she told us of a waife from New York who became a christian through the influence of a christian home she read a Leaflet "Why I am a White Riboner". Our President told us about the interesting convention held at Perry. After the meeting we packed a barrel of fruit and clothing for Benedict Home. Value $25. 51 qts. Ass. Sec.
