The Sept. W.C.T.U. meeting met at the parlors of [leong]. lunch at 2 PM with an attendance of 28. Mrs. Robert Lincoln led the devotionals by reading the 2nd chapter of Epesians. After singing and prayer the business was taken. Sue. report was read and approved and Mrs. Kirk read the treasurer report, Miss Buck being absent. It was decided that we purchase a new book for the treasurer. Moved by Mrs. Stucks that there be a Suft. elected to the department of citizenship. Mrs. Mc.Guin being selected. Our attention was called to any one desiring periodicals literature of any kind to confer with Mrs. Walland. Delegates selected for the state cerventure were Mrs. Kirk, Mrs. Heisel, Mrs. McGuin, Mrs. Cears, Mrs. Richards. Alternatives: Mrs. Fisher, Mrs. John Lincoln, Mrs John Erans, Mrs. Hastings and Shaul. A short time was given to the receiving the new members. The pres. repeated the usual initiation [...] and pinned the white ribbon on each member. The annual sec. report was read and approved by me. Mrs. Stucks was granted the privilege of purchasing such literature that is needed in her department. The barrel to the Benedict Home was discussed. The Union thought best to send it this month. Mrs. Lincoln and Mrs. Fisher was appointed to help Mrs. Carse - the work being new to Mrs. Carse. Ten dollars was allowed for thank {...] firing Mrs. Wood was made life member Mrs. McGuin took charge of literary program.
