This W.C.T.U. met at its regular place Nov. 16 - 1920. Mrs. Kirk read the 138 Psalm Prayer by Mrs. Lincoln, Stucks and Richards were offered calling on our Heavenly Father to fortify what has been accomplished and use His people for further good. Song #206 was sung. Secretary report read and approved. Mrs. Kirk explained details in regard to disbursements. No treasurers report. Treasurer absent. Finances were discussed, extra expenses etc. It was moved and seconded that the essay contest be conducted the same as it was last year. Mrs. Lincoln read a letter of thanks from Mrs. Ella Barnes. Our president explained several important things of interest in reference to the Benedict Home. After the business meeting Mrs. Grimes of Montezuma gave a very interesting talk on her European trip. She had several souvenirs that she brought with her that added interest to her account of the different places she was privileged to visit. Mrs. Grimes being with us was a surprise to several of us, but a happy surprise when we listened to the brief account so full of special interest of our people acrossed the deep. Meeting closed with repeating the benediction. After the meeting a short meeting of the executive committee was held to decide on some unfinished business. No disbursements.
