Mrs Spencer Mrs. Woodburn Mrs. Hutchinson Mrs. [name?] and daughter delightfully entertained the audience with musical and vocal selections. The Mrs [illegible[ gives attendence through out the institute Special meeting Jan 7th at the congregational church, was called in order by the pres. A number of topics were discussed. Comfort kits, place of meeting during winter months, Mayor [illegible] programs and the matter of interest. Jan. 17, 1922 The union met the third Tuesday of January in the Congregational church with Mrs. Hess leader of the devotionals Mrs. Hess read the scripture from different chapters a few versus from the book of John, Psalms and Corinthienians. AFter which a gosple song Onward Christians Soldiers was sung. Prayers were offered by Mrs. Woodburn Mrs. Stocks, and Mrs. Richards. It was moved and seconded that the comfort kits be dropped for the present, the motion carried. Mrs. Kearney moved that we meet in houses during the winter months. It was seconded and carried. Mrs. kearney presented the picture proposition, after a short discussion a committee was appointed consisting of Mrs. Woodburn, Hamilton and Kearney. to consider and decide where the [illegible] should be shown. After the business Miss Veo Baker sang a very pleasing solo to an appreciative audience. Mrs. [Irv.?] read a paper [touching?] on
