The regular meeting was held at Mrs CS George Oct 15 1927 Mrs Robert Lincoln presided Miss Brownell lead the devotional Meeting opened with crusade song and 146 Psalm was read Mrs Emma Bailey was alowed 10 vo for expenses as delegate $2.00 was alowed for literature for Temperance Sunday Mrs Stocks Mrs Conrad and Mrs Bailey gave reports of State Convention of WCTU at [illegible] Mrs Robert Lincoln [illegible] the white reform bow on Mrs Tars our new member Mrs H.O. Shaw Sec. The WCTU meeting was held at the home of Mrs John Lincoln 403 Main St. Nov 15 1927 Mrs Robert Lincoln presided Mrs. H.O. Shaw led the devotional reading JOn 3-16 and 17 Mrs Kerney and Mrs. H. [illegible] were nominated for school community Mrs Kerney was to select [illegible]. Mrs Robert Lincoln and Miss Jennie Bailey were elected delegates to social [illegible] meeting Mrs Kerney was elected delegate to district county convention at Des Moines Mrs JA Stokes and Mrs Stockes were apointed to see that the [illegible] might sing again Sec Mrs. H.O. Shaw and assistant Mrs Tars will suply for the present in the absence of pres agent 1.55 was allowed for expense of barrel of fruit Mrs. CM Kerney gave interesting talk [illegible] as the subject Meeting was held Dec. 20. at the home of Mrs JS Stokes Mrs Robert Lincoln presided Mrs L.M. Cooper lead devotional telling of the marvelous powers given to Mary the mother of our Lord and the wonderfull music in the heavens announcing Jesus birth Miss Clara Brownell was made life member. Mrs Conrad and Mrs Kerney and Mrs R.J. Hadley were appointed a comedy for special [illegible] for our public school teacher Mrs RJ Hadley and Mrs Hess were appointed to prepare program for Victory day an effort was to be made to publish in book form the history of the W.C.T.U. in Grummell of the part 60 years prepared by Miss Jennie Bailey Mrs Kerney Mrs Stocks and Mrs JC Lincoln were elected committee to prepare programs for 1928 years meetings 5.00 was prayed the Good fellow Christmas fund. A telegram was sent to Iowa City opposing military training. Mrs Robert Lincoln invitation for the Iowa meeting to be held at her home was accepted we were drowned with our WCTU benediction Mrs HO Shaw Sec The regular meeting was held at Mrs Robert Lincoln 525 Main Jan. 17, 1928. a victory day celebration The 18th amendment was 8 years old 16 Jan. 1928. Rev. George Blagg lead the devotions reading from 1 psalm to be of our mind recurring strength to accomplish good The work of foreign missionary in all of our churches were presented Rev H.C.
