Wednesday Jan 30th Dear Neice I [rec] your letter was glad to hear from you My health has been pour ever since I have been here I am better now I am sitting up all the time but not able to be out of my chair much I am so weak my lungs are no better but I think when spring comes I will get better We have had a beautiful winter here a part of Dec was very cold but that was all the bad weather we have had and they say we will have no more cold weather here Those pieces you speak of I will send you a few when I get well
