business I will not stay, -- The greatest advantage I shall reap by this connection will be the capital of the concern, -- I shall not make more money than I would to have taken my small capital and gone into business alone and trusted to good fortune for an indorser. Occassionally; I have more money than Mr Blanchard and myself when we commenced but we had a good indorser , -- --- --- -- I have recevied a letter from brother Harry, the only one since he left home, he says he intends to visit home in the fall, he says we must not judge him too hard, he appears to look back upon the past with regret, he says he is poor and never expects to be wealthy, -- he intends to remain in PennYan until he has paid his debts and perhaps longer. -- --- I intend to visit Kinderhook about the first of September, and would like to pass through your place if if I could make it convenient, but it is so far from the River I do not know how I should get there and not spend too much time, -- I had a letter written to William, but do not know whether I sent it or not, I mailed several letters that day and believe his was mislaid, -- tell him however, he must take the will for the deed, and answer it, -- My love to all Respectfully your son, Edw Eno.
