business (illegible) so much worse than I expected that I have very little capital left and my credit being impaired by my suspension, made it very difficult for me to start again under favorable circumstances - I therefore hope and trust I have made a judicious choice. I have been much gratified to hear from Henrys letters that you enjoy good health this winter, and hope to find you the same in September. Christina and the children all want to see Grandpa before they go west - and now send their love and also to Rufus (illegible) Ron - I have much to say to you when I see you - things that I would rather communicate verbaly than in writing - I should be pleased to receive a letter from you at Kinderhook. Your affectionate son Edw J. Eno
