Philadelphia May the 24 1862 Dear brother I received your letter Som 9 Weeks ago It has ben Could Here all the Springe Except last week And the[n] it was verry hot Henry Nayler has had to buy 5 tuns of hay this Spring fer the Cowes at 5 per tun Clymena Said Somthinge about Nayler being Mad yet I never See[n] Him af ter the Day you left the State before the 10 of May that was af ther Sugaring was Over he has made 5500 lbs from five thousand trees About half of that goes to pay [fer tubs] At Carthag this Spring Now Clymena you must know Somthing About how Mad he looks this Spring Henry half of your Money that I got for you at the bank he Ses that he Ses the that he will have to
