Philadelphia January the 18 1865 Dear Childen How are you geting along Have been verry Anksious to hear from you this morning we received A letter from an unnown Grandson by the name of William Henry child He did not Say that he was Henry and Climenas oldest son but we supposed that he was He did not Wright any thing About his family it being late when He arived he had not mutch time half past eleven it stated in the letter if he is your son I wish you mutch joy for his safe Arival tell stella I wish her mutch joy With her little brother the weather Here is verry cold not mutch snow We want to know whether you are Alone or hav the folks moved in with you We are all well as Comon farther is verry lame I must Close it is getting doo wrght as soon as you receive this I shall want to heaar I from Climena wihout fail this from your mother
