fifth month and room to plan to visit meetings and friends in general Also she [illegible] I to go to washington but she did not get there she had the typhoid fever she had to be [buried?] there for they would not Allow her to be brought home on the [cars?] she died the fourth of this month blessed Are the dead that die in the Lord They shall rest from their [illegible] and their works do follow them by dear children I want us to consider that its A great thing to die but if we are prepared no matter where the day is if the soul can Ascend to heaven we went last first day to see uncle Simeon and grandmother they are both quite [fable?] but simeon is better than I expected to find him he talks strong and sits up in bed he is very [illegible] for breath I think he will live until fall the weather here is very cold for this time of year things are going pretty well all but corn that don't [much?] the way crop is quite good our folks is Among the [neck?] lot tell thomas there is more hay there than there was when he had the place the grain Cooks quite well for this country we have now potatoes good side Josephs folks had peas some time ago
