60 Denison Iowa March 22/79 The Denison Total Abstinence Union not pursuant to adjournment. Regular officers present Meeting opened by prayer and Singing Minutes of the last meeting read and approved The constitution & By Laws were read by the Secretary. after which the question for discussion was taken up L M Shaw opening on the affirmative assisted by Mr Woolston. R Shaw Van on the negative aided by Dr Hoagland. After a spirited debate upon both sides the judges decided 2 in favor of the affirmative & one in favor of the negative side of the question The committee on program report the following exercises for next Saturday evening Select Reading By E S Plimpton
